Short bio

Professor Zhang’s research and teaching interests include social psychology and microsociology, children and youth, mental health, emotion, and education. She is currently working on several projects on the themes of youth cultures, mental health, and emotion. As an ethnographer with training & experience in quantitative research, she looks forward to working with students with diverse methodological interests.
