Witnessing Their Students's Growth Professor Steve Shipman Professor Shipman has been teaching courses, labs, and tutorials in physical chemistry at New College since 2008. In their lab, Professor Shipman and their students study how small molecules rotate and vibrate in the gas phase in very high resolution. This lets them acquire “molecular fingerprints” that can uniquely identify molecules in complicated mixtures. Learn More

Klingenstein Chair Leaves Her Mark at New College Professor Susan Marks Professor Marks has been teaching at New College for 30 years. In 2003, she became the Klingenstein Chair. She has spearheaded the Judaic Studies focus in the Religion Department. Learn More
