Career Quest

Career Quest is New College’s career development program designed to guide students through a structured journey of self-discovery, exploration, skill development, and professional preparation. Through Career Quest, the Center for Career Engagement and Opportunity (CEO) partners with faculty, staff, employers, and alumni to provide personalized support that helps students identify their strengths, explore career pathways, gain meaningful experiences, build professional networks, and confidently pursue their post-graduation goals. By engaging in Career Quest, students develop the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to make informed decisions, communicate the value of their liberal arts education, and successfully navigate an evolving world of work.

Jobs & Internships

New College graduates launch careers across every industry, including technology, business, healthcare, education, government, nonprofit organizations, research, and more. Through Symplicity, students can access job and internship opportunities tailored to their interests, connect with employers recruiting specifically from New College, register for career events, and schedule appointments with career coaches. Combined with personalized career support and experiential learning opportunities, Symplicity helps students gain the experience, connections, and professional skills needed to successfully transition from college to career.

New College has comprehensive exam prep for the MCAT, the LSAT, you name it—not to mention pre-med, pre-law and M.B.A. advisers who can help you navigate the graduate school application process. Going straight into a career? We have pre-med and pre-law Pre-Professional Programs, as well as a Professionals in Residence program that lets you schedule appointments with industry leaders for in-depth interview practice and job searching.
