(May 15, 2010) On January 26, 2010, New College of Florida broke ground on the most significant academic building to be constructed on our campus in nearly twenty years.  Check out a webcam from general contractor AJAX Construction to see the progress being made!  Images of the building site are updated hourly, and you can view the site in panorama, zoom, or see the images in time lapse.

The building site is located in what used to be the Jane Bancroft Cook Library parking lot at the corner of College Drive, Bay Shore Road and U.S. 41. This view of the site is taken from a camera positioned atop the library.

When finished, the $11 million Academic Center and Plaza will contain classrooms, faculty offices and a small café,  and promises to become the campus hub, a natural meeting point throughout the week for students, faculty and staff.
