On May 2, New College will host the The Composers’ Concert featuring the Sarasota Wind Quintet at the Mildred Sainer Pavilion. The event begins at 4:00 pm and is free and open to the public.
For the past nine years, the New College music department has partnered with a resident ensemble from the Sarasota Orchestra to promote music by New College students. This year, the Sarasota Wind Quintet will perform compositions by New College students Susanna Payne-Passmore, Walter Maisel and Michael Waas.
