SARASOTA – Colleges and universities prepare for the start of the semester and with-it new rules will be put in place to stop the spread of the virus.
Counseling & Wellness Center Director Anne Fisher has helped establish the new protocols to prevent an outbreak once school starts. Fisher says staff and students will be asked to get tested for coronavirus before coming back to campus to determine who’s asymptomatic and can spread the virus.
They’re also recommending the use of masks while on campus. As well as giving both students and teachers the choice of taking classes in person or remotely online.
