Isermann Gallery

The annual New College Juried Student Art Exhibition features a selection of artwork including sculpture, painting, drawing, and photography.  This year 27 artists are represented in the exhibition, which is on view from Feb 3 through February 25 in the New College of Florida Isermann Gallery in the Caples Fine Arts Complex, 5313 Bay Shore Road.  A reception for the artists is scheduled for Thursday, Feb 3, from 6 to 8 pm. Awards will be presented at 6:30 pm.

This year’s juror is Matthew McLendon, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, Ringling Museum of Art.

Participating studnets are Nathan Duvall, Melinda Thackrah, Eugenie Fortier, Ben Sims, Mary Dunkelberger, Zachary Hudson, Lizzie Tracy, Analeah Rosen, Malia Obradovich-Reeder, Katherine Oglesby, Emily Meyer, Andrew Fishman, Claire Albiez, Heather Mullins, Madelyn Ringold-Brown, Alex Miranda, Brittany Champagne, Sophia Blair, Sherise Gamble, Dinah Juergens, Alejandra Martino, Lea Martin, Carmen Guillen-Casal, Missy Parker, Emily Martin, Molly Swift and Zoe Rayor.

The exhibition has been organized under the direction of Kim Anderson, assistant professor of art.
