New College gets big funding increase in state budget
The state’s smallest public school will receive more than $4 million in recurring revenue and other funds.
TALLAHASSEE — Florida’s university system will receive another significant increase in funding next year as part of a multi-year effort to enhance the quality and stature of the state’s universities.
The funding is boosting university budgets across the state, from large institutions such as the University of Florida to the smallest one, New College of Florida in Sarasota.
