The New College Foundation held its annual scholarship luncheon last week at the foundation’s offices on the New College campus.
Supporters of the school, including many Bradenton and Sarasota civic leaders, gathered to celebrate raising more than $750,000 to support academically gifted but financially needy students, and $60,000 to support students’ research projects at New College of Florida in Sarasota.
New College president Don O’Shea praised the donors for their support of the school and its students.
