Tim D. O’Donnell is an Instructor for Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies at New College
of Florida. His careers span many different types of theatre and roles including Broadway, Off
Broadway, and Regional Theatre work. He served as a Company Manager for The Radio City
Christmas Spectacular, the General Manager for the Lark Play Development Center, and as a
wardrobe supervisor for various Off Broadway and touring productions. As an educator, he has
taught at such institutions as the North Shore Music Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park,
Stella Adler School Studio for Acting,Theatre Silco and the Asolo Repertory Theatre. As a
costume designer, he recently designed the Off-Broadway premieres of Billy the Bomber,
Monsters of the Villa Diodati, and Ichabod: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Previous shows
directed at NCF include Carrie: The Musical, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Spring
Awakening. Tim holds a B.F.A. in Theatre from Adelphi University, an M.Ed. in Theatre
Pedagogy from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in
Theatre Pedagogy from the University of Idaho.

I was ready to teach full time. I had been on the theatre circuit and freelancing for some time and
