Tan Nguyen

Associate in Chemistry

Tan Nguyen is a chemist with a background in organic chemistry and the synthesis of complex molecules. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Arizona State University and his master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Memphis, where he focused on the synthesis of heterobimetallic complexes. He later pursued a Ph.D. at Texas Tech University. Before joining New College of Florida, Nguyen served as an Assistant Professor at the College of Southern Nevada, teaching general and organic chemistry. Outside the lab, he enjoys running and reading books on total synthesis.
