The mission of the Office of Communications and Marketing is to tell the New College story to key audiences locally, regionally and nationally through branding, communications, and marketing efforts that height the visibility of New College, enhance its institutional reputation, and advance the college’s strategic plan goals.

What We Do

The Office of Communications and Marketing:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact with all media
  • Oversees the ncf.edu website
  • Produces New College News
  • Manages New College’s social media channels
  • Partners with departments and faculty members on print and digital marketing materials
  • Provides/arranges for multimedia services (photography, videography)
  • Maintains New College’s brand standards and logo usage requirements
  • Produces Nimbus magazine
  • Manages New College’s advertising program

While members of the press are welcome to take video or shoot photos on campus, we would appreciate it if you could let us know in advance so that we can be of help in meeting your photography needs, or connecting you with the right students, faculty or administrators. Filming and photography by professional photographers is not allowed without permission from the Office of Communications and Marketing. A fee may be involved.
