Office of the Registrar
The Office of the Registrar is committed to providing the highest level of service to New College students and faculty in all aspects of our operation, which includes student registration, processing academic forms, maintaining the class schedule and class enrollments, and producing official transcripts and certifications. The Registrar’s staff is an integral part of the Enrollment Management team and contributes to the College’s efforts in retention and student success.
The Office of the Registrar’s academic forms and policies are available to the students, staff and faculty of New College through the myNCF portal on the Registrar's Policies, Forms and Procedures page. All others should contact the Office of the Registrar directly.

Privacy & the Release of Student Information
New College of Florida (NCF) complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 (Buckley Amendment). Further information about the College’s policy with respect to the privacy of student records may be obtained from the Office of the Registrar.
Student Evaluation and Record Photocopy Requests
Current students may view their course evaluations and contract certifications by accessing the Student Evaluation System via the myNCF portal. Graduated and withdrawn students may request copies by submitting a signed Student Evaluation and Record Photocopy Request form. Requests are typically processed within 5-7 business days.
New College transcripts are requested at www.GetMyTranscript.com for a $10 fee and are generally processed within 3-7 business days. However, Rush and Express mail options are available for an additional fee.
Additionally, a transcript legend appears on the reverse side of the transcript which explains the New College academic program, absence of grades and credit hours, selection criteria for admission, accreditation and honors status.

Residency for tuition purposes is defined by state law. Consequently, New College adheres to the criteria set forth in Florida School Code (SB-20E) Section 1009.21 Florida Statutes (www.leg.state.fl.us).

Re-admission Application and Procedures
Students seeking readmission must petition the Student Academic Status Committee (SASC) and submit the Application for Readmission to the Office of the Registrar. The deadlines for Fall is April 1st and for Spring is November 1st. For details regarding readmission, click here.
United States Department of Veterans Affairs
The US Department of Veterans Affairs administers many programs, including the Veterans GI Bill. Questions or concerns regarding VA educational benefits may be directed to Marilyn Brislin, the New College VA liaison, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
New College Graduation and Degree Verification
New College of Florida has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse ("NSC") to provide enrollment and degree verifications. Individuals and agencies seeking this information should contact the NSC at:

The New College of Florida diploma is awarded in Latin. The Diploma Translation shows the original Latin side-by-side to the English translation for a fictitious student.
Former students who need a replacement or additional copy of their diploma may complete the Diploma Replacement Request. Replacement diploma requests take approximately two weeks to process.
Change of Student Address
New College students update their Permanent Mailing address, Local Mailing address, and Emergency Contact information by submitting the Change of Student Address form to the Office of the Registrar.
Name Change Request
Students who need to request a change of name may complete the Name Change Request. Requests must include the official documents substantiating the name change such as a court order, marriage certificate, divorce decree, etc.
Social Security Number Collection and Usage
In accordance with Florida Statutes, the Social Security Number Collection and Usage document denotes the purpose for the collection and usage of Social Security Numbers by New College of Florida in instances when an internal NCF ID number is not sufficient.
