Bio
Virginia Bray holds a Bachelor of Music degree from North Texas State University and a Master of Music in piano performance and pedagogy from University of Texas, Austin.
Additional piano study with Jules Gentil, Professor Emeritus at the Ecole Normale de Musique, Paris and with Dr. Donn-Alexandre Feder, Manhattan School of Music. Virginia has performed frequently in this area as a soloist and in collaboration with other artists. She has been the rehearsal/performance accompanist on piano, organ and harpsichord for Florida Friends of Early Music, Gloria Musicae, Key Chorale and Musica Sacra of Sarasota. Virginia recently retired from St Martha Catholic Church where she was the Music Director/Organist for many years. Virginia is an Adjunct Professor of Music at New College where she teaches all levels of piano performance, accompanies the voice students and is the Director of the New College Chorus.
