I have been teaching at New College of Florida since the AY 1997-1998. I am identified with and committed to the educational mission of our institution. I regularly teach all levels of Spanish language, from Elementary to Advanced, as well as courses and tutorials, both in Spanish and in English, on a a variety of topics related to the cultures and literatures of the Hispanic world (Latin America, Spain, and the United States). I also conduct a translation workshop (Spanish/English) in which we work with literary and non literary texts. My teaching interests are broad, and I support student research in the Humanities and in the intersection between the Humanities and the Social Sciences. My research interests are focused on modern and contemporary Peruvian literature.
