Summer Scholars Program

To celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary, the Civics Writing Program invites students to reflect on the nation’s founding documents and their continued significance today. High Achievers will participate in an exclusive Civics Workshop at New College, deepening their understanding of constitutional law and governance. Exceptional entries could lead to scholarship opportunities at New College. The program starts on June 15 and ends on 19, 2026

All-Expenses-Paid Week long Summer Scholars Program

This conference featured four panel sessions on Education and the Founding; Federalism and Republicanism; Cultivating Patriotism and Virtue in the Early Republic; and Nature, Liberty, Reason, and Constitutionalism.

This conference features panels on the philosophical influences on the Founders, the geopolitics of liberty, religion and the Founding, and slavery and natural rights, along with a featured presentation on education and civic virtue. This conference will examine how the ideals of justice, liberty, and self-government shaped early American civic and political life.
