Access to Canvas, NCF’s learning management system
A guest account has been created for each new faculty member, and instructions were emailed to the address provided on your CV. Please follow the instruction in that email to access Canvas and your course shell, so that you can add content at your convenience. Once you receive an NCF email address, your guest account can be transferred to your NCF account. Here are some tutorials to get you started.
Software requests for classroom computer labs.
At the end of the each semester, the IT Department begins the process of updating and installing software in the classroom computer labs for the next term. Please send any requests for software additions for the computer labs to the IT department via email ([email protected]) with a subject of “Lab Software Request”. To complete installation of new software requests, the IT department requires the version (build number) of the software, a copy of the media (or link to the media download), and pertinent licensing information.
New Coldwell Banker Relocation Program
The goal of this program is to provide customer service and professional advice to incoming faculty and staff to make the process of navigating the Sarasota housing real estate market more manageable, and to offer a valuable real estate benefit program with cost savings to the New College campus community. There are several advantages of this program, the main one being that participants receive cash incentives including a rebate on home purchase and home sale closings of 15 percent of the transaction side commission, and a closing cost credit on mortgage up to $1,200 when they register for the program and work with preferred program providers.
