Professor Jiang aims at an interdisciplinary area linked environmental chemistry and bioorganic chemistry. She regularly offers classes in organic chemistry l&II and labs, environmental chemistry, introduction to environmental chemistry, and structure elucidation. She is interested in the practical applications of various natural products in environmental and human health areas. Her current research is focused on the photodegradation of organic contaminants in waste water by natural pigments sensitized nanomaterials, metabolomics studies on combinational environmental stress to marine invertebrates, and natural dye-sensitized solar cells.
