Rogers Promoted to Vice President of New College Alumnae/i Affairs
The New College Alumnae/i Association (NCAA) and New College Foundation announce that NCAA Executive Director Jessica Rogers has been promoted to vice president of alumnae/i affairs.
NCAA’s board chairman Bill Rosenberg states, “During her time here as executive director, Jessica has distinguished herself and been instrumental in the great strides that the NCAA has made on many fronts. This is a well-deserved promotion and we look forward to more great things for our association with Jessica as VP of alumnae/i affairs.”
Rogers has served as executive director of NCAA since 2006 and holds both Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in Speech Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi with an undergraduate minor in Journalism and Public Relations emphasis.
She is a member of the Southwest chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Sarasota County Junior League where she serves as a member of the Finance Council and is Co-Chair of the Cookbook committee. She is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in North Port where she sings in the praise band and is a member of the Missions committee.
The New College Alumnae/i Association was founded in 1985 and supports its mission to promote communication among and between Alumnae/i and New College, sponsor programs, activities and events for Alumnae/i, advise the president of New College of Florida and the president of the New College Foundation, Inc. of alumnae/i concerns, and to provide financial and other assistance to New College in carrying out its educational mission.
