The Twenty-Fourth Annual Admissions Advertising Awards, sponsored by Admissions Marketing Report, presented New College of Florida with a gold medal for the publication New College Magazine (Fall 2008) and a merit award for the brochure Introductory Admissions Brochure — New College of Florida: Our Stories. The Admissions Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country.

Over two thousand entries were received from more than one-thousand colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries. Judges for the Admissions Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of admissions’ marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Admissions Marketing Report. In its twenty-fifth year, the Admissions Marketing Report is read each month by thousands of admissions marketers at colleges and universities throughout the country.

New College Magazine was produced and written by the New College Office of Public Affairs, and the Our Stories admissions brochure was a collaborative effort involving the public affairs office and the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid.  Both publications were designed by Robert Rytter & Associates of Butler, Maryland.
