New College Names Vice-President for Enrollment Management
Dr. Damon wade comes to New College from the University of Virginia
New College of Florida has announced that Dr. Damon Wade will be joining the college as its new vice-president for enrollment management, starting part-time on Sept. 1 and joining full-time on Oct. 1. Wade comes to New College from the University of Virginia School of Continuing and Professional Studies, where he served as associate dean for student services and enrollment management since 2017. In the past three years, he has overseen a 124 percent increase in student enrollment.
Prior to his role at UVA, Wade was the vice-president for institutional effectiveness and enrollment management at Grambling State University. He also served as the director of institutional effectiveness, research, and assessment at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina. Wade holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elizabeth City State University, a master’s degree in public policy from Norfolk State University, and a Ph.D. in public policy and administration from Walden University.
