NCF presents African Diaspora Film Festival Series
African Diaspora Film Festival series
As part of its Black History Month activities, New College of Florida is presenting the African Diaspora Film Festival, which continues with a series of movies available to watch at home through March 4. At 4 p.m. today, there is an online discussion with Medhin Paolos, creator of the 2015 film “Asmarina,” which marked her first-film (co-directed with Alan Maglio). The festival continues with screenings and discussions of the 1966 “Black Girl,” “Sembene!” (2015) and “Sitting in Limbo.” The programs are offered for free.
