National March for Science in Sarasota

New College of Florida students are taking action, leading their own march on the Suncoast.
Wildfires, smog, melting ice… is climate change to blame? Many scientists say yes. So does environmental science student Kayla Evens, which is why she’s organizing a march for science in Sarasota.
“The mission of the march is to make sure that science is publicly funded and communicated and that it’s done for the common good,” says Evens.
