Five Years of Looking for Angola Video Now Available on YouTube
(January 24, 2011) The Looking for Angola project has employed the dual disciplines of archaeology and ethnography to find artifacts of enslaved Africans and Seminole Indians who once lived along the Manatee River. On January 15 New College of Florida hosted Five Years of Looking for Angola: A Retrospective on the Journey and Future Paths to Explore, a lecture with film debut and Q&A session.
