One thing that makes the Suncoast “A Great Place to Call Home”, are the fascinating people who lived here before us. They built homes, schools and businesses here, and many say, left their spirits here, to guard this place they loved so much.
The Paranormal Society of Bradenton says the admissions building at New College, formerly the Charles Ringling Mansion, is one of the most haunted spots on the Suncoast. Charles Ringling didn’t live in the house long.
Andrea Knies, New College Associate Director of Community Engagement says,”The house was completed in the summer of 1926 and Charles passed away in December of that year. He was President of the Chamber of Commerce, and a leader in the Sarasota Business Community.
