Amber has broad experience in conservation and research science administration, including nine years as the Habitat Research Administrator at the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute and as the Director of Conservation at the Florida Aquarium. She is currently the Executive Director of Southface Sarasota, a resilience nonprofit focused on energy efficiency, climate change, and social equity and health. Her conservation efforts have spanned corals, larval fish, sea turtles, watershed restoration, water quality, habitat restoration, microplastics, endangered species, MPAs, and policy work.
