2015 Summer Program

New College of Florida is excited to offer summer courses in 2015. Registration is underway.

Fast Facts
-- Summer courses are either four or six weeks in length. All start June 8 and end July 3 and 17 respectively. See our 2015 course list and class size requirements here
— Most courses are 4 credit hours; some are 2 credit hours.
 For in-state students, a four-credit course costs $768.40 and a two-credit course costs $384.20.
 For out-of-state students, a four-credit course costs $3,327.16 and a two-credit course is $1,663.58.
 Courses can be taken for credit or noncredit.
 There will be on-campus housing available for current New College students only.
 There is no additional financial aid, but students can use their remaining aid for the summer.
 Registration will begin Jan. 12, 2015.

Currently enrolled New College students
The courses count toward the 31 required units and other relevant requirements of students. However, since they are not part of a contract, summer classes do not count toward the minimum requirement of 7 contracts.

For registration you must use the CRS system. Note that this is to register for the course, not simply to express interest. Please only select the course(s) you will be taking. Once you select the course(s) in CRS, you are automatically registered. Click here to register.

Students from other institutions and the larger community
The courses offer college credit, and will have grades for students seeking to have these courses recognized at other institutions.

Non-New College students should first fill out our application formOnce registered you will receive notification of the process through which you can register for the specific course you wish to pursue.

Summer 2015: Six-Week Course
Jan. 12 to April 30: Registration for all students
May 1: Late registration and drop/add period ($100 fee)
May 4: Tuition and fees due
June 8: Session begins
June 12: Last day for 100 percent refund
June 22: Last day to withdraw with 25 percent refund
July 4: Independence Day (Offices closed)
July 17: Session ends
July 22: Grades due (by noon)
