New College Of Florida Campus Master Plan

Campus planning and concurrency management within Florida’s State University System (SUS) are governed by Florida Statute 1013.30. Further requirements for campus master plans are detailed in Florida Board of Governors (BOG) Regulations, Chapter 21.

The Campus Master Plan outlines general land uses and addresses the necessary provisions for:

  • Roads
  • Parking
  • Public transportation
  • Solid waste
  • Drainage
  • Sewer
  • Potable water
  • Recreation and open space

This comprehensive plan covers the next 10 years and helps facilitate seamless coordination between universities and their local governments.

The Campus Master Plan is required to include eight essential elements:

  • Introduction
  • Future Land Use
  • Intergovernmental Coordination
  • Capital Improvements
  • Recreation & Open Space
  • General Infrastructure
  • Housing
  • Conservation
