Andrea Gibson, internationally known spoken word poet, gave a powerful live performance of her poetry on campus March 2011. Watch her riveting performances here. Students also tapped into her genius during a creative writing workshop at Four Winds Café. Gibson’s work illuminates that the personal is political with themes that deconstruct gender norms, sexuality, class and patriarchy.
