Sharing Patient Info Electronically is Topic of Lecture

The goal of allowing primary care doctors, specialists and hospitals to send patients’ medical records electronically is the topic of discussion at the New Topics New College lecture series Tuesday evening, Feb. 26. John Collins, a Sarasota internist and pediatrician who is leading the local effort for instant info, will speak and answer questions on “Helping Patients with Healthcare Information Exchange.”
