Schools to Receive Funds Based on Performance

At this month’s Board of Governors (BOG) meeting in Sarasota, higher education was a major issue of discussion. Attendees of the Nov. 7- 8 Board meeting held at New College of Florida included Gov. Rick Scott and the chairman of Scott’s Blue Ribbon Task Force on Higher Education, Dale Brill—two appearances which gave way to much needed discussion on the future of Florida’s University System.
