Ranking Colleges by Selectivity

Here is a list of colleges as classified by their selectivity, according to criteria developed by Barron’s Profiles of American Colleges (2009). The list can be sorted alphabetically, by state or by selectivity group. For selectivity categories, 1 indicates “most competitive,” 2 is “highly competitive plus,” 3 is “highly competitive,” and 4 is “very competitive plus.” [New College of Florida is ranked “highly competitive plus.”]
