New Music New College's 15th Season Aims to 'Deepen the Conversation'

The 15th season of New Music New College will bring back artists from past seasons who have particularly resonated with audiences. The lineup for the 2013-2014 season includes several collaborative shows, including a pairing of the NOW Ensemble with Fuzion Dance Artists, and several world premieres, including “Shady Intercontinental Songs” by composer Francis Schwartz. The returning musicians won’t simply be reprising programming they’ve done at New College of Florida, but rather deepening the connection and conversation they have with both students and audience, said series director and New College provost Stephen Miles.
