November 1, 2012—New College will be the host site for this month’s Florida Board of Governors (BOG) meeting, taking place on November 7 and 8. Staff from the BOG will begin arriving for set up on Tuesday, November 6, followed by a full slate of meetings in the Sudakoff Conference Center on Wednesday and Thursday. A reception for BOG members, State University System (SUS) presidents and their guests will be held in College Hall on Wednesday evening as well. This is only the second time in New College’s 11-year history in the SUS, and the first since 2004, that the College has hosted the BOG. The BOG provides governance and advocacy for all 12 members of the State University System of Florida, which includes New College of Florida.
