New College of Florida police officer Michael Clary places flags in remembrance of 9/11

New College of Florida police officer Micheal Clary places American flags on the University of Sarasota Sarasota-Manatee campus lawn on Monday. Students, first responders, veterans and volunteers joined together to plant 2,977 small flags, one for each victim of the 9/11 attacks. USF Sarasota-Manatee will hold a 9/11 remembrance ceremony on Tuesday.


Founded in Sarasota in 1960, New College of Florida is the state's only legislatively designated Honors College of Florida.
