New College of Florida Named A Top School for Return on Investment

New College of Florida was again named one of the country’s top colleges for return on investment by the respected and long-running Princeton Review.
The ranking comes in the just-released 2017 edition of The Princeton Review’s book, “Colleges That Pay You Back: The 200 Schools That Give You the Best Bang for Your Tuition Buck.”
New College also made the book’s exclusive ranked list of the “Top 50 Colleges That Pay You Back.”   New College ranked 49th, one of a handful of small, liberal arts colleges nationwide to make the cut.
New College was the only Florida college or university to make the “Top 50” list.
In the book’s profile of New College, the Princeton Review editors write: “The combination of NCF’s incredibly low tuition and rigorous, individualized academic program make it a tremendous value for both in-state and out-of-state students.”
The profile also quotes students who describe New College as having “deep and stimulating academics” and a “small, intimate atmosphere.”
For the listing, the Review assessed more than 5,000 colleges, and calculated the return on investment rankings for 650. The ratings weighted 40 data points, from academics, cost, and financial aid to graduation rates, student debt, and alumni salaries and job satisfaction.
The “Career Information” section of the profile lists New College’s exceptional ROI score of 90 and the “Lists” section ranks New College’s alumni network as 22nd-best in the nation.
The Princeton Review, an education services company, posted its school profiles for this book and the book’s seven categories of ranking lists on its website at
