Michael Pierce has been named the new general counsel at New College of Florida.
Pierce has most recently served as an adjunct professor and director of bar preparation services at Stetson University College of Law, where he developed programs to increase student engagement both inside and outside of the classroom, according to officials. He has experience in federal regulations related to higher education, including FERPA, Title IX and the Clery Act.
