The best college improvisers from around the country will be coming to Chicago to compete in the College Improv Tournament’s National Championship at the Vittum Theater, 1012 N. Noble St., on Feb. 25.
Similar to the NCAA‘s March Madness, the College Improv Tournament features 15 improv teams competing in five regional semifinals, taking place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the winner of each region moving on to the final round at 9 p.m. on Saturday night.
The 15 final teams were selected out of 135 teams who competed at regional tournaments held throughout the country. In each show, the improvisers have to make up scenes on the spot, doing their best to get the biggest laughs out of the audience and win the favor of the judges.

South Super Regional – 1 p.m.
