Gaby is a New College alum and NCF Research Scholar. An internationally known Maya archaeologist and expert in Maya hieroglyphic writing, she has been affiliated with many institutions and museums including the UNC-Chapel Hill Research Labs of Archaeology, the Dumbarton Oaks research collection in DC and various projects at the University of Florida. Gaby has also taught courses and organized field trips for our Anthropology Program over many years.
