(FGCU)
While the new semester quickly approaches, significant accomplishments have been made and are continuing to occur at FGCU. Whatever we haven’t accomplished this semester remains an ongoing challenge for the rest of the school year. Ancient cultures such as the Sumerians utilized cuneiform script, or pictographs, to express the ideas of their scholars. Before you begin the next semester, the significant achievements accomplished this fall at FGCU are being set in modern academic cuneiform. Library hours at our University continue to fall behind other universities in Florida. According to Eagle News, “University of North Florida, University of West Florida, and New College of Florida are three universities with similar enrollment to FGCU. These school’s libraries are open 118, 106, and 96 hours per week, respectively. FGCU’s library is now open 69 ½ hours per week.”
