Kiwanis Club Scholarship Winners

The Class of 2013 Longboat Key Kiwanis Scholarship award winners were named this week on Aug. 15 at the annual breakfast held at the Longboat Key Club Harbourside dining room. The Kiwanis Club awarded $42,500 in scholarships to 25 recipients (out of 92 who applied), all attending Florida institutions and having lived in the Manatee/Sarasota area. Congratulations to the 15 university, and 10 technical school winners. Among the winners is the New College of Florida Circle K International (CKI) Club President, Abigail Oakes.
