Assistant Professor of Digital Media and Music Mark Dancigers performs with NOW Ensemble in NYC

NOW Ensemble

Judd Greenstein, a co-director of New Amsterdam Records and the curator of the Ecstatic Music Festival, is among the main architects of an open-minded, all-embracing artistic community that has taken root in New York in the past decade. Here, though, is a reminder that he is, first and foremost, a composer of lively, beguiling works, and no group has a better measure of his style than NOW Ensemble, which he co-founded. The ebullient clarinet virtuoso David Krakauer is a considerable added asset.

Le Poisson Rouge
158 Bleecker St.
