Rent the inspirational documentary, John Lewis: Good Trouble, online and stream a live panel discussion about the film at 7:30 p.m. Thurs. July 9.
The film is a celebration of the life and work of the legendary civil rights activist and longtime United States Congressman. A total of $5 of every $12 rental supports the John Lewis Chair in Civil Rights and Social Justice at Emory Law, and viewers can access an exclusive 16-minute discussion with Lewis and Oprah Winfrey.
“The challenges of pursuing a more perfect union can seem overwhelming, and Lewis’ story is a reminder of what those willing to get into ‘good trouble’ can accomplish,” the event organizers wrote.
