Indigenous Awareness Week, virtual version

Originally planned for March 30 to April 5, Indigenous Awareness Week recently transitioned to an online format—with links to virtual museum tours, workshops and other activities.
The idea is “to celebrate diverse cultures, traditions and histories, and to raise awareness about the oppression indigenous people have faced, both historically and in the present,” said Lesley Nickels, the assistant director for the Student Activities and Campus Engagement (SAuCE) office, who compiled the educational resources.
