A guide for persons stopped by law enforcement has been developed

A guide meant to be helpful for those who are stopped by law enforcement has been developed with input from the State Attorney’s Office and the New College of Florida general counsel. It is not meant to be a substitute for legal advice or an all-encompassing brochure about every situation, like vehicular stops, knock and talks, etc. It’s more of a broad overview about encounters with police and a way to let people know about the process for following up on concerns.  The guide can be found here and on the NCF Campus Police website at https://www.ncf.edu/police/links/.
