Longboat Key resident George A. Skestos has been reappointed to the New College of Florida Board of Trustees by the Florida Board of Governors for the State University System. His term, subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate, begins immediately and runs through Jan. 6, 2018. Skestos replaced J. Robert Peterson on the board in June 2012.
