Students pitched their businesses at a Shark Tank-like experience, a collaboration between New College and State College of Florida.

Following the growth of a successful content partnership together, Caribu and its CEO co-founder Maxeme Tuchman are welcomed into the Mattel family of brands.

The New College Challenge has caught Forbes's attention as an innovative, ambitious project with a fresh plan for community involvement and growth.

"The development of critical thinking skills has been my greatest impact," says New College of Florida Chemistry Professor Steve Shipman.

“I absolutely love the students here,” says Professor of Judaic Studies and Klingenstein Chair, Susan Marks. “They read what they are assigned. They are curious, they are willing to explore. This is just not true at other schools.”

Perhaps characteristic of many New College alums, Robert Cooksey ’97 is most comfortable when confronted with something brand new. The Experience Architect for Robotics at Intel loves designing in unthought spaces.

Kush (Parankush) Bhardwaj ’16, credits his education at New College of Florida for landing his job as a software engineer at LinkedIn in San Francisco. 

Dany Rizzo ’12, a New College alum credits her thesis for being promoted to a project management role at her workplace in Silicon Valley. “I had no real project management experience but when I interviewed internally, I spoke about my thesis. Because it was a project, it helped me get the role.”  

Rebecca Stork ’06 is in the prime of her life. It’s the time most thirty-somethings have a laser-beam focus on their careers. That definitely applies to her. She is a rising star attorney with Journy LLP—a boutique law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.
