You can use the Jane Bancroft Cook Library Catalog to search for books, articles, DVDs, newspapers, and other materials available from our library.  You can define your search by the tabs on the left side of the screen when you are in the catalog:

  • All Results searches across a combined list of materials. Keep in mind that while this is a broader search than your other catalog search options, it is not comprehensive.
  • Books searches books, including e-books, and other formats (i.e. DVDs) in the collection, but not articles.
  • Articles searches journals, magazines, and newspapers in the collection.
  • Digital Collections searches eBooks in the collection.
  • Course Reserves. You can search the Course Reserves by Instructor or keywords, or browse the Instructors, Course Titles, or Course Numbers lists.

All Results, Books, Articles, and Digital Collections are searchable by keywords, title, author, subject heading, series, call number, or other identifying number (i.e. ISBN, ISSN, OCLC).
