When you arrive, you will be part of one of the quintessential New College experiences: customized classes with renowned professors who are committed to connecting one on one with you. While we are currently planning to return to traditional classroom instruction in the fall, offering the highest-caliber learning is always our priority (whether that is in-person or online).
Most of our first-year students live on campus for the sense of community it brings—to be near others with similar educational and life goals, and to develop the lifelong friendships that only happen during the college years.
However, during these complex times, we realize that may not be the ideal situation for all of our students. If you need to live at home, contact Sonia Wu, Dean of Enrollment Management, at swu@ncf,edu or 941-487-4461.
