SUMMARY:Nan Freeman Memorial Dedication
DESCRIPTION:Fifty years ago\, Nan Freeman was a New College first-year student who died while volunteering with striking sugar cane workers at the Talisman Sugar Company in Central Florida. A moving memorial—beautiful twin outdoor murals celebrating Nan Freeman’s selfless activism—is being dedicated on Saturday\, April 2\, at 2 p.m. in the  New College Library (please note the venue has changed to indoors). You are invited.
